Technical training covers a wide variety of applications from entry level education to advanced application training.

E-learning can provide an environment with built in checks allowing users to achieve the learning objectives at their own pace. Use of cross section diagrams, colour coding and animations can illustrate the workings of components in a clear understandable format. Questions and exercises can be used to test a users understanding of terminology and process steps.

Advanced training in the operation and application of technical devices is also effective through the E-learning medium. Simulations of operational controls and displays can be used within scenarios to create an effective training program. Where appropriate the use of short video clips can be used to show operation in practice.

Technical training has a role to play both for employees of an organisation and customers requiring the necessary skills to use equipment safely and competently.
