Leave the M1 at Junction 33 and take the A57 (Sheffield Parkway) towards the City Centre.
At Park Square roundabout, take a middle lane and take the 3rd exit signposted A61 and the Railway Station.
Pass the Railway Station on your left and take the left hand fork and continue through the traffic lights in the middle/right hand lane. At the junction, turn right onto the Ring Road, continue straight on at the first roundabout and take the left filter lane to turn left onto London Road.
Follow London Road until you reach a set of traffic lights where the road forks and bear right onto Abbeydale Road.
Follow Abbeydale Road for about 2 miles from the Ring Road until you see St Oswald's Church at traffic lights. Go straight on at the traffic lights and then take your first left into Troutbeck Road. see detailed map. (If you come to Tesco you have gone just past Troutbeck Road.)
At the end of the M18 follow the signs for M1 North and Sheffield (take the left-hand lane). Join the M1 travelling north to the next junction. At Junction 33 leave the M1 and join the Sheffield Parkway towards the City Centre.

From the M1 motorway Junction 29 take the 2nd exit (A617) towards Chesterfield.
Follow this road until you come to a large roundabout. Get in the right-hand lane and take the 3rd exit, which will take you onto the Chesterfield bypass (A61).
Follow the signs to Sheffield on this road. (It will take you past the Chesterfield College.) Follow this road onto the Unstone-Dronfield bypass until you reach the outskirts of Sheffield.
At the roundabout at the end of the Unstone-Dronfield bypass take the 1st exit on to Chesterfield Road South heading for the City Centre. You will enter a 40 mph speed limit.
At Norton roundabout, approach in the left-hand lane and take the 1st exit signposted to Holmesfield. Immediately move into the right-hand lane and take the 1st right turn and follow the road (Greenhill Avenue/Bocking Lane) down the hill.
At the roundabout at the bottom of the hill, take the 1st exit onto Abbey Lane (B6068).
At the junction with the A621 Abbeydale Road South turn right onto Abbeydale Rd South. (The Beauchief Hotel is on your left at the crossroads.)
Go along Abbeydale Rd for approximately 1½ miles until you pass a Tesco filling station on your right.
Almost immediately after the Tesco traffic lights, turn right into Troutbeck Road and see detailed map.
Travelling from Manchester along the A57, after running along Ladybower Reservoir, turn right at the A6013.
Turn left at the T-junction (there will be a petrol station on your right) and follow the signs to Hathersage and then follow the A625 to the outskirts of Sheffield.
As you reach the outskirts of Sheffield, fork right onto Whirlowdale Road (signed Chesterfield).
Follow Whirlowdale Road down the hill and following the road to the right, which becomes Abbey Lane.
At the junction with the A621 Abbeydale Road South turn left onto Abbeydale Rd South. (The Beauchief Hotel is opposite at the crossroads.)
