Information Security

Information Security is vital to all organisations particularly those in the financial sector. Keeping awareness levels high and ensuring that new employees are trained adequately is an ongoing issue for Information Security departments. Yorkshire Building Society commissioned an Information Security game designed to be engaging and memorable covering all the main aspects of Information Security.

The game called “Mission Security 2” is based in a fictitious organisation headquarters where two hackers are concealed causing chaos to the internal systems. The user has to explore the building collecting tokens by working through exercises and scenarios on each floor. Progress is dependent on passing each stage which opens access to the next level. At the top of the building the user attempts a final test. When passed the location of the criminals is revealed and they are duly arrested. The game takes approximately two hours to complete and will save the users's progress allowing completion in multiple sessions.
